*PORCELAIN VENEERS* |
What
are some of the benefits?
How Porcelain Veneers attach to your Tooth As seen in the photos below about .5 mm of enamel is cut away to make room for the very thin porcelain veneer which is bonded (like glue) onto the the prepared tooth surface:
Different
Situations... Correction of Teeth with Enamel Hyperplasia If you were born with a hereditary failure such as enamel hyperplasia (seen on the left), the discordant patches of brown and white are not amenable to bleeching or microabrasion. On the right shows the placement of 8 porcelain laminate veneers: Looks Great!
Correction of Spaces Between Front Teeth As you can see from the photo on the left the diastema or space between the two front Incisors looks unattractive. On the right: shows the closure of the space with porcelin laminate veneers.
Corrections of Misaligned Teeth On the Left: shows the front four incisors out of alignment. In addition, the lateral incisors are slightly rotated. On the Right: shows the correction with porcelain laminate veneers which not only creates an illusion of straight teeth, but also an enhanced lighter shade (almost gleems).
